The economic crisis is due to various major reasons which have been haunting for a long time but came into limelight only at the end of last year. There are many reasons for such a situation to prevail.

However it is believed that if credit cards have not been used extensively, the current financial stress could have been better to some extent. Anyway it makes no sense to talk of something that has happened. All that can be done now is to prevent the market from deteriorating further.

The Afro-American President, Obama stands firm on the credit card issue. He is so determined to bring the people out of the credit card mania and make them realize the importance of saving money for future purposes.

The credit card companies are taking advantage of the financial situation and are imposing extra interest rates on the consumes who are not able to pay the credit card bill amounts within the stipulated time period and on those who use credit card at a minimum basis.
This article gives a brief view of the President’s displeasure on the usage of credit cards and the steps to curb the excess usage of credit cards.
